STATEMENT OF MISSION

 

Tyndale International Theological Seminary seeks to provide each student with the opportunity to mature in their experiential understanding of the substance of Christ’s character and image while developing their cognitive and effective potential. It is to be a Seminary where understanding and knowledge are generated and disseminated together with essential principles of their practical application in a contemporary world for lifelong ministry and the development of a foundation for lifelong learning and training.

Tyndale International Theological Seminary seeks to impart to each student a high level of competency in their ability to study and present the Word of God to others. It is our goal to produce individuals who can bring enlightened solutions to the problems that are faced by both the church and the secular world.

 

Purpose and Objectives

Specifically, our goal is to produce ministers who

  1. are trained in a Christian worldview who are capable of effective communication
  2. can demonstrate solid Biblical knowledge and sound Christian theological understanding.
  3. understand the nature of human life and its spiritual needs.
  4. can develop and implement ministries to families and other groups within the church.
  5. demonstrate that they are reliable family ministers, displaying concrete faith in God, with expertise in marriage and family matters.
  6. are professional in their ministry so that they can efficiently cope with life crises within a church and/or ministry setting.
